Well, I think we had better get some clarification on this before we send the first Israeli spaceship up. :-) Can an artificial gravity (caused, say, by a rotating spacecraft) make "down" and "up?" Alternatively, AIUI, a spacecraft that is orbiting a planet is still under the influence of that planet's gravitational pull, even if weightlessness reigns inside. Maybe "Down" in that case would be towards the planet it is orbiting.
