[Avodah] Subject: Haichah Kedusha

Just a data point:

When I was in NIRC they always did a Haichah Kedusha at Mincha - even on
Erev Shabbos right before Kabolas Shabbos.

This was in 1986 when R' Ruderman zt"l was till RY.
