<div dir="rtl"><strong>ב</strong><strong>:</strong> יְכוֹלִין לְהַתְנוֹת, שֶׁלֹּא יְהֵא הַמְקַבֵּל נֶאֱמָן לוֹמַר שֶׁהִפְסִיד מִן הַקֶּרֶן כִּי אִם עַל פִּי עֵדִים כְּשֵׁרִים, וְעַל הָרֶוַח לֹא יְהֵא נֶאֱמָן כִּי אִם בִּשְׁבוּעָה – קס”ז</div>

<p>[The investor] may [meaning: it is permitted and legally binding] to make the condition that the recipient would not be believed if he were to say that he lost some of the capital, unless it is stated by two <em>kosher</em> witnesses, or [the condition that] on the [size of the] profit he would not be believed except with [his taking] an oath.</p>
